Seven Must-See Scenic Gems in San Fran

Many people consider San Francisco to be one of the prettiest cities in the entire country. Although most well-known for the Golden Gate Bridge, there are a ton of other areas throughout the city that are picture-worthy. While the city is famous for its cultural scene and exhausting supply of museums, art galleries and performing arts venues, there are places of natural beauty that can still be found in this heavily populated area.

Strawberry Hill

If you don’t mind doing a little hiking, you will find Strawberry Hill right in the heart of Golden Gate  Park. Here you will be surrounded by every shade of green you could ever imagine as you enjoy views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a waterfall here, and the peaceful environment makes it the perfect place to enjoy a little meditation.

Crissy Field

It does not matter if it is foggy or sunny, the views of the Golden Gate Bridge here are fantastic. While most people flock to Fisherman’s Wharf to enjoy views like this, you can skip the crowds of tourists and enjoy them here in a serene environment. There are bike and walking paths, a safe beach area for dogs with no riptides and even a small café.

Grand View Park

Local residents often refer to this area as Turtle Hill. The summit rises to 666 feet, and there are staircases on either side you can use to climb to the top, or there are challenging trails as well. When you get to the top, you are awarded with 360-degree views of the city. You will also find one of the city’s last natural habitats for native plants, including coyote bush, beach strawberry and the endangered Franciscan wallflower.

Lands’ End Trail

This is by far one of the best trails you will find in the city. You will enjoy a secluded beach, a cave, mature trees and numerous lookouts along the way. The trail is clearly marked and there are information boards along the path that educate you on the history of the area as well as what you happen to be looking at, if there is a point of interest.

Twin Peaks

You can’t live in or visit San Francisco without taking in the views at Twin Peaks. It offers a 360-degree view of the city and is a must-see during the day and at night. The drive up takes about 10 to 15 minutes and you really have to go slow on the winding road, but once there, you will have a hard time leaving.

Lyon Street Steps

Not only do these steps offer about the best workout you are going to get in your life, they also award you with some nice scenery along the way. The steps are even and easy to climb, with gardens and rest areas thoughtfully placed. You can also see the top of Alcatraz as well as some stunning homes in the marina.

Ocean Beach

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The surrounding rock formations and large cliffs provide the perfect backdrop to sand and deep blue water. This is an incredibly wide beach, so even when it is busy, you have more than enough space to walk. There is also a paved path and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat.

Joseph Sabeh Jr.

Please let me introduce myself, I am Joseph Sabeh, Jr a full time licensed professional realtor. I have been with Executive Homes Realty for over 13 years and was trained by my late father and Broker, Joseph Sabeh. I recently incorporated the company and we moved the office to 43513 Mission Blvd just last summer. I could not have found a more honorable place to work. After earning my experience selling high end Ralph Lauren suits and studying business management in southern California, I decided to pursue my dream of selling real estate and working with my father. He had already had such an excellent reputation and established a niche market of high end clientele that catered to the very best. I wanted to become the consummate professional just like him and have strived to become just that being just a phone call or email away from getting back to my client’s immediate needs! Known by my clients for my tenacity, perseverance , and excellence in negotia- tion(Certified Negotiation Expert), I have always strived to meet my clients high demands and goals. As a result of my professionalism, I have achieved an extensive portfolio of referrals from past and present clients. I credit my current values from my upbringing of my parents and the credit is due to them without question. Their integrity, pride, and willingness to sacrifice for the better of my life and my sister’s always left a mark on me that one day I will pass on. Their desire to achieve a better life and live it to the fullest is one that some families dream of and I certainly am appreciative of all of the education and etiquette I have learned from them both. I have sold condos up to 3.2 million dollar homes and I am here for any and all of your future real estate needs and wishing you the very best experience in your future real estate endeavors with me.
